We believe that the Bible, consisting of all 66 books, is the divinely inspired Word of God, faithfully written by men under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We affirm that the Scriptures are verbally and plenarily inspired, meaning that every part of the Bible is the result of God's direct influence. Consequently, the Bible is completely true in all that it asserts, being both inerrant and infallible. It is the ultimate authority in all matters to which it speaks, and is fully sufficient for guiding life and faith. As such, the Bible is to be obeyed in all its commands, serving as the supreme and final authority for all belief and practice.
We believe in the existence of one true and living God, who is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, incorporeal, and invisible. This God eternally exists in three distinct persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—each fully divine and worthy of our worship and obedience. This one God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and His perfect will is carried out throughout all of creation. His presence and power are evident in the world, in Scripture, and in our lives as believers. We are called to honor and serve Him, trusting in His guidance, grace, and sovereignty in every aspect of life.
We believe in God the Father who created, sustains, and rules over the heavens and the earth. In great love and mercy, He sent His Son to save us from sin, wrath, and death. He hears and answers the prayers of His people. Through His Son, He has made a way for us to be reconciled to Himself, granting us eternal life. His faithfulness endures forever, and He continues to guide, protect, and provide for His children. We are called to trust in His plan, live according to His Word, and worship Him in spirit and truth, knowing He is always present and working in our lives for our good and His glory.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. He is fully God, and yet, being born of the virgin Mary, He is fully human. We hold to His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit, His sinless life, powerful miracles, and profound teachings that reveal the heart of God. Through His substitutionary atonement, He took upon Himself the penalty for our sins, offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all who believe. His bodily resurrection demonstrated His victory over sin, death, and the grave, providing the foundation for our hope in eternal life. After His resurrection, He ascended to the right hand of God the Father, where He reigns and intercedes for us. We eagerly await His personal, visible return to judge the living and the dead, restoring all things and bringing justice, peace, and fulfillment of God's promises. In Him, we find forgiveness, hope, and the power to live transformed lives.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who moved holy men to write the Bible and has come into the world to reveal and glorify Jesus Christ. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparting new life through His regenerating power. The Holy Spirit continually indwells believers, filling them with His presence, gifting them for service, and illuminating their understanding of God’s Word. He teaches and guides, leading them in truth and sanctifying them to reflect Christ's image. The Spirit empowers believers to live godly lives and equips them for every good work. He seals them for the day of final redemption, guaranteeing their inheritance in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, we experience the transforming power of God, growing in grace and becoming more like Christ each day. By His strength, we overcome life’s challenges, remaining steadfast in faith and advancing the Kingdom of God.
We believe God created man in His own image and gave him dominion over the earth. As a result of man’s sin, this image became distorted. Yet, as an image-bearer, man has great dignity, significance, and value. Man is a guilty sinner by nature before God and chooses to live sinfully. Therefore, he is under condemnation and will die. Every aspect of his being has been affected by sin, making him unable to seek or come to God. In his fallen state, man is spiritually dead and separated from the life of God. Only through the grace of God and the redeeming work of Jesus Christ can man be reconciled to the Father. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are given new life and the ability to live according to God’s will, reflecting His image more fully. This new life in Christ brings forgiveness and a transformed heart and mind, enabling believers to walk in obedience and fulfill God's purpose.
We believe that God graciously imputes the righteousness of Jesus Christ to all who repent and place their faith in Him alone. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, and is not based on human works. Once regenerated by the Holy Spirit, the believer is set apart for God’s purposes and begins a journey of sanctification. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the believer is continually transformed, becoming more like Christ, while depending on God for forgiveness, cleansing, and strength to live out His will. As followers of Christ grow in His likeness, they anticipate being glorified with new, immortal bodies and spending eternity in His presence.
We are part of an autonomous local body of baptized believers under the headship of Jesus Christ. We practice congregational government with a plurality of elders serving as leaders. Our unity is in the baptism of the Spirit. Our purpose is to magnify God by bringing people to Jesus (mission) and membership in His family, developing them to Christ-like maturity, and equipping them for ministry. We strive to create a community that fosters deep relationships, where believers support and encourage one another in their walk with Christ. Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission and advancing God’s Kingdom on earth.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the local church to practice until our Lord returns: Baptism and the Eucharist. Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the triune God. The Eucharist memorializes the death of our Lord and anticipates His return. Both ordinances serve as powerful symbols of the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Through baptism, we publicly declare our faith and commitment to follow Christ, while the Eucharist strengthens our communion with Him and fellow believers as we await His glorious return. These ordinances are vital expressions of our ongoing relationship with Christ and His church.
We believe in the visible, personal, and bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth, when He will establish His eternal kingdom. At the moment of physical death, a believer enters into immediate and eternal fellowship with the Lord, awaiting the resurrection of their body to everlasting glory and blessing. In contrast, at the moment of death, an unbeliever enters into eternal separation from the Lord, awaiting the resurrection of their body to face judgment and eternal condemnation. This ultimate division is a solemn reminder of the hope we have in Christ and the urgency of sharing His message with the world. As we await His return, we are called to live in anticipation, faithfully following Christ and spreading His love to all.
